The fruiting body of Coriolus versicolor is annual. The cap is semicircular to shell-shaped, (1-6)cm×(1-10)cm, 1-3mm thick; the cap surface is white when young, gradually becomes dark, with dense fine hairs, varying in length, in the shape of Grey, white, brown, blue, purple, black and other colors, and form moiré-like concentric ring patterns; the lid edge is thin and sharp, wavy, complete, and light-colored. The orifice surface is initially white, gradually turning yellowish brown, reddish brown to light gray-black; the orifice is round to polygonal, with 3-5 per 1mm, and cracks later, the bacterial tube is single layer, white, 1-2mm long. Bacteria flesh white, fibrous, fibrous to nearly leathery after drying. Spores cylindrical, slightly curved, smooth, colorless.
